Stone & Associates Designers was formed in 1978 in response to developer’s needs for a company to design and market model homes. The principal partners in the company, Katherine Stone, an interior designer, and David Stone, a graphic designer, joined forces and it proved to be a successful match. From the positive relationship with developers came residential clients, who in turn had Stone & Associates create their working environments. In 1992 Bryan Stone joined the company as a professional interior designer bringing a fresh, creative perspective and construction knowledge. Having proved his expertise with countless successful projects the new millenium saw him as a principal in the company. The company enjoys unprecedented success designing restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Demand broadened their horizons to include hotel design, retail, corporate and government offices. Custom building plans in the form of additions, residential, and commercial construction followed to cater to the needs of a growing, prominent clientele. Designs were executed, with the assistance of professional engineers or architectural technologists, for waterfront retreats, sleek urban homes, and foreign hotels for business travellers. From embassies to golf clubs, Stone & Associates thrives on the diversity of their work and the unique talents of the team members.
